Stewart was right! This is such a great place to spend time, and with such lovely people. Our room was big and we were well provided with all comforts. Thank you Lesley and Bob. Incidentally the porridge was the nicest I have ever been served, anywhere.

We stayed three nights at the beautiful Backcroft B&B. The spacious Red Room was everything we could have asked for. Bob and Lesley\'s excellent hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Lesley\'s homemade treats were delightful. We\'d thoroughly recommend this little gem.

We had a great night. I enjoyed my lovely deep bath... greatly appreciated after walking round the golf course! Thanks for your help, and getting us a delicious breakfast so early in the morning!

We had a fabulous stay in the Red Room.....the bed was sooo comfy, Lesley and Bob are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend Backcroft to anyone.

Absolutely Fantastic! We stayed in the Red Room. It was gorgeous. Very comfortable and well thought out with super attention to detail. Great breakfast too. We totally recommmend it to anyone and 'we will be back'.

Wonderful place to stay located in breathtaking countryside. Bob & Lesley did a great job of making us feel welcome. This is a place I certainly will recommend to friends, both for its good value and good service!

Had warm welcome before I even got to the front door! It felt like visiting a favourite uncle/aunt. Was left to enjoy home comforts without being hassled, lovely. Will definately be back, the shower in the kingsize room was lush !

Highly recommended. A very friendly welcome and lovely accommodation. Lesley and Bob had thought of all the little details like wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room. We'll be back next year for the next 'Deerstalker'

A very warm & friendly welcome awaits anyone who stays with Lesley & Bob. Home made warm Scones, home made Jam, fresh ground Coffee, that's just for starters. The rooms are tastefully decorated, & very well equipped. Beds soooo comfortable. A full Scottish Breakfast needs no recommendation it speaks for itself. Thank you once again for making our stay so pleasurable.

I still can't believe that Lesley & Bob are not old hands in the accommodation game.

Their "KEY" to success is fine attention to detail. Their tasteful refurbishment has brought a lovely building to life. I can think of no other better place to stay when traveling through the borders. Thank you for letting me briefly share your lovely home. I will be stopping at Backcroft next time I'm passing and that's a promise.

You know you're with good folk when the hosts go to bed later than you and rises to cook you brekky before 8am!! Top quality rooms, grub and hospitality. Great accommodation and we all hope you do well. If we have enough bones we'll be back to break more soon. Good luck.

The rooms are clean, cozy, and quiet and the hospatality welcoming. The owners have put a lot of work into making their house special and it shows.

Lesley and Bob, thank you very much for the lovely time we had with you. The B&B is really excellent (great rooms, good breakfast and you are very nice). When we come over to Innerleithen again, we will contact you and hope that we can stay with you again.

A most welcome stop off on the Edinburgh/ Newcastle Coast to Castles cycle route. From warm freshly made scones on arrival we were made to feel "at home". The accommodation is of a very high standard - and we will recommend you!
