Welcome to Backcroft Bed & Breakfast ...
At the heart of the Scottish Borders, nestled in the valley of the River Tweed, lies Innerleithen, home to Bob and Lesley Foster, proud owners of Backcroft Bed and Breakfast. Originally from Edinburgh, Bob and Lesley extend to their guests the same warm welcome shown to them by the friendly folk of Innerleithen.
Built in 1830 as a Coach House, Backcroft retains its charm and history whilst offering the traveller a high standard of accommodation and a first class bill of fare. Situated just off the High Street, Chapel Street is a quiet thoroughfare with ample parking and Backcroft, with its trademark 5 windowed frontage, looks on to the Memorial Hall and gardens, venue for music festivals, theatre, craft fairs and horticultural shows. All year round Innerleithen plays host to an abundance of cyclists, walkers, golfers, fishermen, singers and musicians and Backcroft welcomes them all!
Wherever you have come from, wherever you are bound for, rest a while in Innerleithen in the comfort of Backcroft B & B.
Look forward to seeing you.

Why not take advantage of the winter rates of £30 pppn and have a romantic Valentine weekend at Backcroft.
Choose from the sumptuous red room or the intimate blue and enjoy a complimentary bottle of bubbly (well, Cava!) and chocolate. (If you’ve got to bring the kids along we can offer you a family room as well!)
All this on top of the customary coffee and cake on arrival and a fab breakfast in the morning.
Relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside and historic sites, go walking or biking, try the many fine eating places in the evening or curl up on the sofa in the residents lounge and watch a dvd on the 42” screen!
